I love to brainstorm! I'd prefer journal threading, and love incorporating things like texts, emails, etc., however, I also use GDocs. I do prefer long-term PSLs with lots of character development over one-shots. Flashback scenes are <3. Shipping is <3. Angst is <3. I'm also always up for pulling in other characters as NPCs to supplement the story we're creating. I prefer third person, past tense writing, but I can adapt to a different style. I tend to match whoever I'm writing with regarding length, though I'm a big fan of tags that consist of at least a couple of paragraphs. More is fine, less is fine, I'm most concerned with your tag getting across what you need to write for your character. I love tags that include not just dialogue or actions, but your character's thought process, their inner workings, that sort of thing. If I'm writing with your character, it's because they're interesting to me, so the more I get to read about them the better.

Some of my favorite stuff includes: darker lines (usually the more twisted something is the better, especially with Punchy here; lines with her are likely to involve violent themes), apocalyptic settings, the occasional badass fight scene, angst (so much angst), fluff, star-crossed love, love triangles, soulmate-y things. Most stuff is my favorite stuff.

Honestly, if you have an idea, no matter how out there you think it is, please feel free to run it past me. I come up with some pretty questionable ideas too and if you bring me something 9.9/10 times I'm going to say yes.

And if it happens to be that small percentage of the time I'm not comfortable with it, I'll be honest with you.

  • backtagging fine with me. mostly, I like to give people I'm writing a PSL with a head's up if I'm not going to be around for awhile and the same in return is always nice. but, generally, I'm fine taking a break from a thread and returning to it later. however, fair warning, if there are weeks going by between every single tag there's a good chance I'm going to lose the muse for whatever we're writing.
  • threadhopping ask please. I'm pretty much not a fan and I'm happy to write something separate with you.
  • fourthwalling generally no, unless it ties into a specific plot. the exception to this is deadpool. deadpool, bb, you do whatever you want.
  • off-limits anything involving kids, anything involving animals, vomit (I mean, if your character has the flu, that's not what I'm talking about. I think you get it), urine, feces, vore. for everything else, 9 times out of 10 I'm going to be okay with whatever. when in doubt, leave me a message and I'll be honest if there's an issue. but I don't personally have any triggers. however, if you do, please let me know so I can make sure I steer clear of those topics. the last thing I want to do is trigger someone with what should be a fun hobby.

  • physical contact generally fine but you may or may not get the response you’re looking for. if you’re curious about how it will go just ask.
  • mental contact a-ok but I can’t promise your character will like what they find.
  • fighting/injury yes please.
  • death nothing permanent unless we've discussed it first.
SHIPPING
In canon Punchline was a college student and I’m playing her around 22.
  • good ship ✓ punchline/joker, punchline/villains, punchline/heroes, punchline/gotham rogues
  • maybe ship ✓/✗ crosscanon characters, basically if there’s chemistry I ship it so if you want to thread and see if they work well together I’m game
  • bad ship ✗ I'm open to most suggestions (including crosscanon) so if you have one, throw it at me and we'll see.
